Magoo also shared a memorial card from Aaliyah's funeral which was held on August 31st 2001. The memorial card also has a dove at the back which @alwaysandforeveraaliyah shared a while back (second picture below).

I want to be excited about this news, Lord knows I do...😩 The constant lets downs are the only reason for me feeling this way, but I'll try my best to stay positive and open minded.
I say this because we've been waiting for a whole 19 years, something that should of happened a long time ago. Aaliyah herself was always ahead of the game, and with this...there's a lot of catching up to do digitally. No doubt Baby Girl will slay, since we've seen evidence of that from her posthumous album #UltimateAaliyah which was illegally uploaded back in 2017 by Craze Productions, racing straight to number 4 on the iTunes charts!
With all that being said, I am truly grateful that things are finally giving way. 🙏🏽❤ The constant battle fans have had to go through just to help towards her legacy such as #AaliyahForMAC, a wax figure for #MadameTussauds but the most important one of all being her #music. Aaliyah literally died doing what she loved the most, just for her fans...for us! The day I finally see her music on streaming platforms will be the day I can finally be at solitude and peace. 💆🏽♀️

What's good everyone? 😊 I know I haven't been posting as much on here as much (my bad🙈) but I have been working on some stuff which still relates to our beloved Baby Girl, hence why I haven't. There's a lot of exciting things which I have in the works right now, and once all is revealed, I promise that the wait will all be worth it! So stay tuned! 😉
Giving the circumstances, I thought it were best to post something on here just to let you guys know that if you do wanna catch us, we are active on both Instagram and Twitter. Unfortunately we are no long on Tumblr (we've had a lot of fans ask where we've gone from that side). #17Years of a legacy that shall always remain. 🕊🌹 The day I discovered you, was the day I finally found myself, a connection like no other that resonated through my being, like an electric current, running through a circuit. You electrified a passion that has blossomed into something so beautiful, that I shall forever cherish and be grateful for. All the friends I’ve made through this fanbase is all down to you Babygirl. And not a day goes by where I wonder what you would of been doing, had you still of been alive today.
No matter what some may say, I shall always defend and honour your name since you are no longer here to defend yourself. Like a lioness is with their baby cub, we too are your protectors, just as God is also. The day you left this earth with your final, last breath of air, was the day you transitioned your light of soul into another spiritual dimension. A soul like no other, as there is only one Aaliyah. No one can ever compare or take away from the loving, caring kind hearted spirit that you exuded to the world.
Wherever you are Aaliyah, I know you are in a good place and for whatever reason, you fulfilled what you needed to within your 22 years of living. Thank you for all that you have given to us, and may the Lord keep anyone who is feeling vulnerable or weak by offering solace, comfort and strength. May he wipe away your tears and help bring a smile to your face through all these rare images, audio and video footage that we continue to see on a daily basis. #Happy16thAnniversary to Aaliyah’s self titled album also known as the #RedAlbum and Aaliyah’s baby! 😄🎉❤ Every year I always try my best to make a tribute, so today I decided to represent our highest most exalted Queen as the mature woman she had become during this era and growth. With each year, and each caption, I always find myself describing and learning from this album in many different ways. It’s only as I’ve grown older, that I truly understand the deeper meaning behind the lyrics Aaliyah and #StaticMajor conveyed to us all. With each listen, I’m constantly learning new things from each track on this album, and how much of an impact she truly made in such a short amount of time. The fact that she was only 22, yet her maturity could pass for someone 20 years older! Wise beyond her years! 😩
She was such a private person too, but with this album she gave us an inside look as to who the REAL Aaliyah was as a person, singer, daughter, sister, lover, model, actress, dancer, performer and overall…a bad ass woman showing us female empowerment way before any other female artist ever did! 💁
To me, this album is the blueprint that started it all, paving the way for other female artists to learn that it’s OK to step out your comfort zone, trying something innovative and outside the norm. Taking a chance on people who are new to the game because you are willing to take a risk and chance, to create ever lasting longevity, that will forever stand the test of time as one of the greatest! Thank you to everyone who contributed to this album. You all created something during a time where albums actually had value, meaning and depth, instead of just playstreams and downloads etc…Forever grateful for having this physical copy! 🙏💚
As a special surprise I also have a video I made which I would like to share with all of #TeamAaliyah. Here is a rare remix of Aaliyah’s ’Don’t Know What To Tell Ya’ (kind of fitting seeing as how the original single was meant to be on the third album, but didn’t make the final cut, until it was eventually included on the posthumous compilation album, ‘I Care 4 U’ released in 2002).☺️
Full credit goes entirely to @saba_hattin via Twitter who kindly shared and managed to find this very rare remix from one of his old CD’s. Thank you so much for sharing with all of #TeamAaliyah! You have no idea how much life this brings to our ears! 😩🙏💚
This particular track was aired on the French radio station Skyrock & remixed by Dj Goldfinger around 2003. Here’s to our highest most exalted Queen! Happy listening! 😉❤️
