Some of you are aware that I have not been active on here as much. Aaliyah Archives News: Aaliyah.PL Creative Contest (RESULTS)

So if you all remember, there was a creative contest run by Aaliyah.PL which I happened to mention on my site around January time. To refresh your memory, click here for more details. The contest was open to everyone for a chance to win some pretty amazing prizes. I happened to enter this myself, and having seen the results which you can check out via http://Aaliyah.PL I was shocked to find that I came at 2nd place! :D I honestly did not expect to win anything, so this is very overwhelming! A huge thank you to all of the Aaliyah.PL team for organising and making this contest possible, and a big congratulations to the other winners who participated too! :o) One love ♥

"The Aaliyah.pl team has decided to put together a little contest for the fans as our way of saying thanks for all the support and love that’s been given to us over the years. You will be able to enter to win some really amazing and special prizes!

The rules:

– you need to be an author of your submission

– only one submission per person (we will accept the first one that was sent)

– your submission must be new (no already shared works)

– BE CREATIVE, there are no limitations to what you can put together (may it be artwork, videos, poems etc.) Just show us what Aaliyah means to you. How has she changed your life or inspired you? Include that thought into whatever it is you decide to create. Contest will run until 9th February to give people time to create and enter. There will be 3 main winners chosen. We will give a full list of prizes closer to the contest ending as we are still putting things together but we promise you won’t wanna miss out!
