As always the 25th has approached and without fail we always receive a special message from the Aaliyah.com official website. Here's what they had to share on the 17th Anniversary of Aaliyah's passing. What was interesting to witness were a few personal facts about Babygirl which I did not know before, so this was quite a pleasant surprise. Thank you as always to The Haughton's for all that you do for the fanbase. We truly appreciate all the little things

Footprints in the Sand
One night I dreamed a dream.
As I was walking along the beach with my Lord.
Across the dark sky flashed scenes from my life.
For each scene, I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,
One belonging to me and one to my Lord.

This is the song Aaliyah sang at Rashad’s high school graduation at St. Thomas Aquinas High School. Baby Girl sang this song to her brother and to all the young people that were embarking on a new chapter in life. Sweet Perfection.
