So I happened to come across this video by chance and thought it would be nice to share with everyone. Being quite a creative person myself, I appreciate the time and effort that people put into their craft. Personally, I feel that Jonathan Mannion has to be one of my favorite photographers when it comes to capturing our beloved Babygirl. In this video below, he talks about some of the biggest legends he has shot throughout Hip-Hop history and culture. Gotta say...I really enjoyed watching this, especially the part where he talks about Aaliyah. A big thank you to TED-Ed for sharing this video!

The Aaliyah Archives: Remembering Tupac (1971 – 1996)

Can't believe it's been 18 years today since Tupac passed away. There hasn't been another rapper like him. His words, flow, story telling and topics have always hit home for me, everytime I listen to his music. A true, down to earth and positive role model within the Hip-Hop community. Like many legends and icons, he was one of those people who wanted to make a difference and change in the world. He touched upon real, social and political topics, not being afraid of what other people thought. Lyrically, I have not come across anyone who has even come close. He had so many great ideas of bringing communities together. I know that if he was still around it would of worked out, since his influence on people alone, was enough to make everyone listen and learn. R.I.P ♥

I know it's been awhile since I have last posted, but rest assure I am alive and well. :o) Anyhoo this is just a quick shout out to all all the existing and new followers/readers of my blog, because without you guys the blog wouldn't be where it is today, so thanks to each and every one of you out there who continue to follow up on my posts. I say this time and time again, but it's definitely not easy when you are running everything by yourself, having said that, I don't mind since I am happy to share my pride and joy with all my other fellow fans out there. Considering my blog is still fairly new I am proud to say that I have reached 10'000+ views, I honestly did not expect that at all. When we come across pictures like the one shown above of Tupac and Babygirl, automatically we are intrigued, wondering whether the both of them ever met. Sometimes it's very hard to tell, since technology has advanced so much to the point where we can barely recognise what is fake and what is reality. When we look at magazines, adverts etc...they portray to us the perfect body image, which are so heavily edited with photoshop, that we cannot tell, unless someone tells/shows us directly. As you can see, Aaliyah's very own brother Rashad Haughton has confirmed this for all those who were curious about the topic. With that being said, it's nice to see two legends in one image who have both been very cleverly edited together in a 'real life scenario'. It's true what they so though, the good die too young. May they both R.I.P.
