Heartbroken to even post this, as the news still hasn't sunk in 😔🤧😪💔....Unfortunately it is with great sadness to confirm that make-up artist and glam squad member @ericferrellmakeup has passed away on November 6th, 2020. Cause of death has yet to be confirmed by his family, but we send our deepest condolences out to all those who were near and dear to our beloved Eric Ferrell.

Words cannot fathom how I feel right now as I write this. I am truly at a loss for words as this was so unexpected. Eric...you truly were a kind hearted, beautiful spirit and it's no wonder Aaliyah wanted to have you around her, having so much trust in you to absolutely slay her for any event and music video shoot!

You were there from her very earliest years of Aaliyah's tomboy phase, to seeing the very woman she grew into becoming. Thank you for always replying back to the fans and sharing and showing that love through all your candid, fondest memories. May you rest in peace eternally King. You will never be forgotten....Peace love and light....🙏🏽❤

“No days go by….that I’m not thinking of you…." There is so much that I can say, but I find it easier to express through drawing, since a picture tells a thousand words. Today I will not cry. I will celebrate the 22 years of your life, that you dedicated to us all. Rest easy my Queen… 

I will also share the rare images which have surfaced today, since I know y'all love those! ;) At the moment, it's so hard to keep up with all of them, so I promise to post as many as I can today! Normally I would feel sad, but today I feel all the positive love and energy from everyone. It truly is amazing... :o)

Aaliyah: 13th Death Anniversary

So as you all knew, yesterday marked 13 years since Aaliyah's passing. I was meaning to post this up yesterday, but here is my personal thoughts on what I wrote yesterday...

Every year, this day always has me in conflicted feelings. On one side of the spectrum I celebrate the birth of my Father, and on the other, I remember a life of a beautiful, talented, young woman who's life was cut so short. I always find that the weather describes my mood best. And ironically all day, it has been raining tears from the heavens above. Words alone cannot fathom the amount of love and inspiration Aaliyah has had on me, but for those who know me well, already know that I've been down for her during the good old Timbaland days of the 90's. I still remember that very day of hearing the news of her passing. I refused to believe it. I couldn't believe it. My idol, the one who I looked up to the most no longer here? I was at home, saw the news on the tv, and felt my heart feel heavy and down. I turned away and looked outside the window, gazing at my back garden. I then looked up towards the clouds, contemplating in deep thought, and broke down in an ocean of tears. That day I will never forget, but I do know that although you are not here physically, you are with us in spirit Babygirl. To this day, I still see your influence in music, fashion etc... So I thank you for blessing us for those 22 years of your life. My thoughts and prayers shall remain with your friends, family and loved ones. 

As a personal tribute, I drew this in memory of our beloved angel. Rest in paradise. ♥
